Domestic producer price index of Turkey witnessed 0.76 percent increase in April compared to March. On a year-on-year basis, the increase would have been 16.37 percent, according to a data from Turkish Statistical Institute.
The official release indicated that the biggest monthly increase rate was witnessed in tobacco products by 4.15 percent while beverages, paper and paper products recorded 3.43 percent and 2.15 percent increase.
On the flip side, metal ores, crude petroleum and natural gas prices recorded a monthly fall of 2.03 percent and 1.80 percent respectively. Mining and quarrying products price also fell 0.49 percent.
